Peter Covino, age 86, of Edison, on Sunday January 31, 2010, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. Beloved husband for 34 years of the late Angela (nee Calabrese) 1981. Loving father of Peter R. Covino and his wife Dona and Judith Popper and her husband Richard. Caring brother of Robert Covino, Sr. and the late Frank Covino. Cherished grandfather of Peter and Thomas Covino and Lauren Brooke. Devoted uncle of Robert Covino, Jr.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service on Wednesday February 3, 2010, at 10 am, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 7-9 pm.
Born in Newark, Mr. Covino lived in Irvington and has since resided in Edison for the past 15 years. He worked as a commercial artist for the Norpak Co. of Newark for 20 years. He honorably served in the US Army Air Force during WWII from 1943-1946 as a Sergeant.
