Rich was like a father to my sisters and I for over 10 years. It is difficult to sum up everything he meant to us in a simple paragraph. Rich taught me how to drive, taught me how to study, helped me through school, and was always around to tell me how proud he was of me. When I think about Rich, I hear him cracking open a soda or see him vacuuming the pool with a bandanna around his head. Rich was a big kid at heart and a kid with a big heart.....he will forever be missed. I regret not telling him I loved him more, so I say it now; I love you and thank you for all the love you gave us. Courtney

Rich you were a kind and fun-loving friend. I am going to miss you. Once again I regret not calling sooner to talk with you and see how things are going. For your parents and other friends, I share the feelings of such an untimely loss. Rich was a great and energetic professional colleague and friend to share so many hours working on such difficult problems but he never gave up the hunt for answers. Rich, you will be truly missed by all

To the Pluta Family: Please accept our sincere condolences in the passing of your beloved son. It was my pleasure to have known him closely enough to file his taxes for the past few years. May his soul rest in peace with the Almighty and may his parents receive all their strength and courage from the Heavenly Father to sustain them in this time of deep sorrow. Don Freeland and Family

Rich, you were a very smart, kind man. I am grateful for the short period of time I was able to spend with you. I will always remember the day we went shopping you told me that you could spend the whole day browsing the aisles of a mom & pop hardware store. Everyday I spent with you was always a day I learned something new. You are someone I will never forget. Rest in Peace Rich.
